In this episode of the Ambassadors Baseball podcast, we address a critical issue in today’s sports culture: identity.

Athletics often teaches young players that their worth is tied to performance, position, and results—but what happens when sports ends? This episode challenges both players and parents to think long-term and recognize the danger of building identity on something temporary. Drawing from Scripture, we explain that true identity is not achieved through performance but received through Christ. When identity is rooted in Him, athletes are freed to compete with confidence, humility, and stability—without fear of failure or pressure to prove themselves. Parents are encouraged to consider how their words and reactions shape identity at home.

Our goal is to help young athletes build their lives on something that will last far beyond the game: identity in Christ alone.
