Biblical Distinctive #12: Hard Work

In this episode of the Ambassadors Baseball podcast, we explore the biblical distinctive of Hard Work as Worship.

In a culture that often views work as a burden or merely a means to success, Scripture presents a much greater vision. God is a worker, and because we are created in His image, work is part of His design for our lives. Through baseball, players are learning far more than athletic skills—they are learning faithfulness, responsibility, discipline, humility, and stewardship. We discuss how sports serve as an apprenticeship for future vocations, marriages, families, and leadership opportunities.

Drawing from Genesis and Colossians 3, we learn that work is an assignment from God and an opportunity to glorify Him. Most importantly, work is not our identity—Christ is. When our identity is rooted in Christ, we are free to work hard, pursue excellence, and faithfully steward every assignment God places before us.
