2026: Episode 21

In this episode of the Ambassadors Baseball podcast, we continue our study through John 3 by examining verse 17 and the purpose of Christ’s coming into the world.

Jesus tells Nicodemus that God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. This episode explores the difference between Christ’s first coming as Savior and the reality that the world was already under condemnation because of sin. We discuss why the gospel is not about self-improvement, religion, or moral effort, but about rescue through Jesus Christ alone.

Players and parents are challenged to understand that salvation is found in a person, not a system, and that Christ came to do what sinners could never do for themselves. This passage reminds us that God’s love moved Him to send His Son so that guilty sinners might receive forgiveness, reconciliation, and eternal life through faith in Christ.
